Carol stops at nothing in TWD: Daryl Dixon Season 2 Teaser

The teaser for the second installment of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon was released this past Sunday during AMC’s new show Parish, and it’s had fans of TWDU on the edge of their seats ever since. The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon-The Book Of Carol will be released sometime this Summer. The one thing that is certain already is the power that Melissa McBride and Norman Reedus bring to the screen when they are together.

In the opening seconds, Daryl has once again gotten himself into a corner. It’s a rarity to see Daryl act as reckless as he does in the face of a danger so large. It shows that this a man who might be on the edge this season.

When we last saw Daryl Dixon, he was about to get on a boat headed back home, but all that got put on hold with Laurent showed up on the beach and was surrounded by walkers in mere seconds. Whatever Daryl’s reason is for staying in France is not happy about.

Already we see Daryl and Carol on two entirely different spectrums, but both their hearts remain the same. Carol will move heaven and earth to get to Daryl. There is no greater cost. Daryl may be in France helping the members of the Nest against this war with Genet, but his heart is not into it.

He yearns to get back home, while Carol yearns to get to him. When their paths cross again, one thing will be evidently clear, that home is where the heart is.

As Daryl is on his mission in Europe, Carol is on her destination to find her best friend. In the finale of the first season, we saw Carol track down Daryl’s bike and throw Mic into the trunk of her car. Season 2 picks up where that left off and Carol comes upon the gas station Daryl once worked at for gas to get back home.

Carol being Carol will always put on a show. She is at first confused of being Mic’s girl. Carol slyly goes along with it and pretends like she has some bike trouble she needs assistance with. When she asks about the previous owner (Daryl) she thinks that’s a great intro into finding out more about where Daryl went. And it was. But they didn’t offer up much information apart from Daryl being an asshole.

In a moment of pure idiocy they set Daryl’s bow on the top of a car and that my friends is where they went terribly wrong. Carol wastes no time in picking up the bow and pointing it at the men. Now it’s time for them to learn the hard way of what happens when you mess with Daryl. And Carol is always that person who is going to fight for Daryl the hardest.
